In the past, River has worked with the Chinese national gymnastics team, as well as in a clinical setting at the Tianjin Children's Hospital. He is a strong advocate for the rehabilitative sciences and combines the benefits of acupuncture, cupping, and manual therapy into his treatments. His extensive training in three disciplines provides him with the skill to relieve pain and discomfort from sports injury, incorrect posture, accident trauma, digestion and sleep disorders, as well as stress, anxiety, and depression.

River also has an excellent knowledge base in TCM and uses these techniques for diagnosis and treatment. He may use a combination of acupuncture, myofascial and trigger point release, cupping, tuina, Gua Sha, etc. in his treatments. He looks forward to developing an individualized treatment plan for each patient, directly addressing their requests and resolving their issues.

Despite his many certifications, River is a lifelong learner and continues to immerse himself in his studies of TCM in his spare time. Outside of work, he enjoys playing volleyball, table tennis, going to the gym, and travelling.
